John Banister Mansion

•Accommodations: Many bedrooms, with private bathrooms with showers, some have kitchens, living rooms, and TV’s, colonial- tropical gardens.

•Rates: Rates vary per room and season. $200.00 and up in Summer season per room, double occupancy. Two night minimum on weekends. 3 nights minimum on holidays and special events. From $100.00 in winter season per night. Special $8500 per week for entire house. Each bedroom has private bath . The mansion has 3 kitchens.

•Open: March through December.

•Attractions & Special Events: Sailing capital of the world, jazz and folk festivals, antiques, golf, fishing, surfing. Near mansion districts and harbor. Parking is available.

•Recommended Local Restaurants: Scales, Salas’, and the Franklin Spa for breakfast-- only a couple of houses from the John Banister Mansion.

•Recommended Local Best Kept Secrets: Beaches, yachts, sailboats, antique stores, beautiful people, historical districts, and the architecture of Newport. Plus the mansion is only a 1/2 an hour away from Foxwoods Casino-the largest casino in the world, Cape Cod, Providence, and 1 hour from Boston.

•Sailing Package: midweek special, 2 night minimum with lodging for 2 nights, sailing for 2 in 75 ‘ schooner in Narragansett bay for 1 1/2 hours with refreshments. From $360.

•Cancellation Policy: need to receive cancellation written notice 4 weeks prior to arrival for a refund minus a 15% processing fee and room(s) need to be resold.
